We are InBody, a worldwide leader in body composition technology. In 1996, Dr. Kichul Cha founded InBody. Two years later, the first InBody device was born. Today, InBody has grown from a small biotech startup in South Korea to a multinational corporation with branches and distributors in more than 80 countries.
As a global enterprise, InBody is located in over 80 countries around the world. Over 70% of the total revenue is generated from exports. Aside from the headquarters office, InBody Co., LTD, located in South Korea, subsidiaries are located in USA, China, Japan, India, EU and Malaysia. InBody takes pride in keeping a close and healthy relationship with its agents worldwide.
Founder speaks My interest in BIA took root very early in my life. I would pick up ideas and experiment. In time, this led me to areas of research that had never been perceived earlier. In pursuit of this combined, or rather conjoined research in engineering and medical streams, I reached a point where I just had to make this machine. I was living with this constant realization that this could improve the quality of lives. This business, therefore, is a natural extension of the pursuit of my interest in BIA.
With my interest of BIA, I started researching into it. While putting ideasand experimenting with ideas that others have not even thought of, I had tomake a machine with my background in both engineering and medical. Then, I realized how this machine will improve the quality of lives, and the business started naturally. In other words, InBody is the result of efforts which was obtained by a pursuit of my own interest in “BIA.”
This is a Result Sheet generated by an InBody 770 Body Composition Analysis machine.
The Result sheet components remain the same across all other InBody machines.
“Every 3 months, we observe patients whether they are losing muscle mass or fat percentage then we modify the diet plan accordingly. when they lose muscle mass, BMR and metabolic may get changed. Then they have more risk regaining the weight. BCA is the most important bariatric practice. “
I want to say it is the best equipment and in terms of trying to determine a player’s physiological make-up, it doesn’t get any better than the InBody. It’s been a great asset to our strength and conditioning programs.
We’re NASA, so we want to do everything we can to offer our workforce the best
of the best, and at the time the InBody was – and still is – the best of the best.”
